2.1 Physical ArchivistaBox
You have purchased an ArchivistaBox. This is standing in front of you and you would like to put it into operation. As all network characteristics have already been recorded before delivery, you can start up the ArchivistaBox directly. If the ArchivistaBox is to be accessed from other computers, the network cable must be connected.
Without a correctly connected network cable, access from another computer is not possible.
Optionally, you can connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor to work directly with the ArchivistaBox. You can work locally with ArchivistaDMS, ArchivistaERP and/or ArchivistaVM. Furthermore, all desktop applications are available for direct work.
If you have purchased the ArchivistaBox without hardware or would like to operate the ArchivistaBox with your own computer, you will receive a USB stick. You can use the USB stick to install the system on your own hardware. It is important that the hard disk installed in the computer is empty, does mean without any partitions. Only in this way will the ArchivistaBox be initialized cleanly.
