By turning on the option 'Whole document in one PDF file' you can effect that upon creation of PDF files each individual page is turned into a PDF file. Normally you should not turn this option off unless you must process extremely large documents with color images. In such a case it could be that the PDF file covering all pages would take more than 128 MByte space and could not be saved in the database because at the moment a maximum of 128 MByte can be stored per database field.
