13.4.6 ignore duplicate data

If this option is enabled, each time files are imported, a check is made to see if the corresponding file is already in the system. If this is the case, the corresponding file will not be imported a second time.

Image tip This option prevents image, video or audio collections from being checked for duplicate entries. Ideally, this option is therefore activated. This option has no influence on scanned files, where every scan will produce slightly different data.
