2.5 Update ArchivistaBox
The ArchivistaBox is not installed or renewed in the classical sense. Rather, the ArchivistaBox is booted from a file (ISO). If a customer wishes to use new functions of an ArchivistaBox (e.g. Release 2029/III), they inform Archivista GmbH by e-mail or telephone. Archivista GmbH then creates the updated ISO file for the customer.
Within ArchivistaDMS it is necessary to log in to WebConfig. On it at the item 'Switch off ArchivistaBox' trigger the button/button 'Online update'. The new release will be obtained from the Archivista download server and installed in such a way that the new release is booted at the next restart.
If ArchivistaVM is used, the Online-Update can be triggered under 'Server' or there 'Update Server'.
In both cases, status messages will appear after the process has been started, if the process is triggered again. If these messages no longer appear, the ArchivistaBox can be restarted.
