Normally, on a computer, the software is installed on a hard disk. An installation medium (CD/DVD/USB stick) is used for this purpose. If changes are made to the system later (updates), this can result in the operating system no longer working correctly.
With ArchivistaBox, on the other hand, the entire installation is carried out in the main memory (RAM) every time the system is started. Subsequent changes can also cause problems with the operating system, but because the system is set up anew in the main memory with each restart, unintentional changes do not cause the system to fail. Each time the system is restarted, the ArchivistaBox is completely set up again, which leads to greater stability. The process of starting ArchivistaBox takes only about 5 to 20 seconds.
