3. Good to Know
The ArchivistaBox is a pre-configured server for everyday business use. The current focus is on document management (DMS) and virtualization with KVM. In the latter case we speak of ArchivistaVM, see also the chapter at 27. In addition, ArchivistaBox contains a simple small ERP solution. All user interfaces are web-based, the entire solution is delivered ready-to-use on a box and the sources are under the GPL, i.e. the software is available as OpenSource.
The following main models are available: Dolder, Rigi, Saentis, Pilatus, Titlis, Eiger, Matterhorn, Dom, K2 and Everest. In addition, there is the ArchivistaBox Albis for scanning documents.
If you are only interested in ArchivistaVM (server virtualization), you can use the powerful DOM, K2 and Everest models. You can find the information about them in our web store shop.archivista.ch. All models include the full range of functions, i.e. ArchivistaDMS, ArchivistaERP, ArchivistaVM and the ArchivistaBox Desktop.
