24.7.4 Create movie database (OMDB)
This job can be used to create the database 'avomdb', which contains information about tens of thousands of movies that can be used for tagging your own movies. The data comes from omdb.org or Help:DataDownload there. Several dozens of MByte of data are downloaded from this server to enable local keywording of the movies. The option 'Rebuild database' deletes a previously existing local database 'avomdb' to create new data.
To enable keywording, the 'omdbID' field (number integer) must be added to the desired database in WebAdmin under 11. Optionally, the fields 'omdbArtists' (text), 'omdbCategories' (text), 'omdbCountries' (text) as well as 'omdbRating' (number double) can also be added so that these criteria can also be recorded for the corresponding film.

(Creative Commons license (Attribution 2.0 Germany). An active cooperation in this project can be highly recommended. This is the only way to ensure that there will be a free film database in the future.
