26.5 Internet
Under this menu programs are available to connect to the outside world (internet).
The main programs are:
- Firefox: Web browser to work locally with the web-based Archivista box applications and surfing in general on the Internt.
- Remote maintenance with Remmina: Easy remote maintenance to remote computers.
- Chromium: web browser based on Chrome technology. Specifically, Chromium is used on the ArchivistaBox Ungoogled. In this case, all components that have any relation to the search giant (unlike Chromium) are removed from the program code.
- Connect to WiFi: Simple login to WLAN routers. This program works only if no static IP address is used, which is not the case with ArchivistaBox by default.
- X11VNC server: Graphical remote access with VNC to the ArchivistaBox itself (can also be activated via WebConfig and there in the services).
